1. One Page Magazine takes a host of mainstream mags including Vogue and National Geographic and boils their advertisements down to one page. The French Vogue piece is particularly shocking because the black ink nearly covers the entire page with 200+ overlapping logos!
2. I’d like to book a room here, pretty please. (via ruby press).

3. My Life as a Fashion Editor recounts Melissa Davis’s humble beginnings as a Sassy magazine intern and later, her high-flying career at both Harper’s Bazaar and Mademoiselle. I love her stories about run-ins with fashion’s elite including going to a party at Betsey Johnson’s penthouse apartment and her giving a personal tour of her home!
4. Gala Darling’s article Being Happy not only explains what happiness is but explains how to achieve it!
5. Ever wonder how Google got its colorful logo? Find out here.
6. Starbucks: “$5 for a squirt of liquid and milk” says it all (via pampelmoose).
7. I’m totally hooked on the street style blog, Altamira NYC. It’s filled with the funkiest looks.
8. The new line of clothing, Madewell 1937 has the cutest website and clothes! (It’s a lower-priced concept designed by J. Crew).

oOh! I’d like to book a room there too! It looks fantastic. I’m a bit biased, though, because I have a thing for Abraham Lincoln. ha
