Hello from San Francisco!
I’m in town teaching with The Blogcademy this weekend and it’s been so much fun exploring the city in more depth. Based on a bunch of recommendations about what to do, Kat and I spent the day visiting loads of restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques and had an absolute blast.
Before flying out to San Francisco, I spent last weekend throwing an anniversary party with Joey for our family and friends. We kept it casual since it was hosted in our back yard and here’s what I wore.
We spent the afternoon chatting beneath a disco ball and grabbing drinks from our (just finished) bar. Getting so many of the people I care about in one place was really special — of course, it had to be commemorated! There are a few missing…it always seems like someone is in the bathroom! Ha!
After the party, it was back to a few long days of work before heading out of town for travel between San Francisco, Orlando and New York.
I love all the old signs in San Francisco. Even with all the change happening throughout the city right now, there’s still so many fantastic independent, small businesses to frequent.
One of my favorite finds was Birch, a hybrid of a shop with both a florist and quirky
magazines. The black walls and colorful floral arrangements were such a cool contrast.
We also stopped by Heath Ceramics.
And, we came across this beautiful brand of chocolate.
And with that, I’m off to do some more exploring and teaching! Have a great weekend, friends!
