New Media Kit and Offerings: Advertising and Sponsored Posts Are Now Available!

Nubby Twiglet | Shauna Haider Media Kit

I’m pretty excited to have a brand new media kit available for Nubby Twiglet. It’s only been about…five years?! I’ve been preaching about the benefits of media kits for ages but personally, I always felt like I was in a state of flux, somehow unable to commit what I was all about to (digital) paper.

But then I realized it was just an excuse — I was being commitment-phobic because writing about yourself and what you do is difficult! It’s easy to procrastinate because there’s always something else you can do instead, like penning a new blog post. 😉 This weekend, I finally powered through, putting together an 18 page media kit about myself and this blog. It feels great to finally have it done and ready to go!

Advertising

The big news is that I’m offering advertising packages again. I’ve had various forms of advertising on Nubby Twiglet since the very beginning but last year, leading up to the launch of Branch I cut it all to put my focus 100% over there. In the meantime, I’d been filing away dozens of requests, many from creative, independent companies I had immense respect for and finally felt it was time to reintroduce sponsorship options. If I can help you get the word out about your offerings, that’s fantastic.

Packages now include banner ads, sponsored posts and giveaways. Preference for ad slots is given to small businesses and creatives.

Let’s Work Together

If you’re interested in partnering up on a campaign, please email me at studio @ nubbytwiglet.com and I’ll forward you my media kit which includes rates and packages.

Thank you for your continued support of this blog and for adding your voice to the conversation both here and on social media. Here’s to another seven years! -Shauna

This looks AMAZING and I can’t believe you did it in a weekend! Your talent never ceases to amaze me. Could you please teach a (Skillshare?) class on how to create a media kit? I need one too and am lost.

Thea: Thank you — it was more of a matter of “If I don’t do this RIGHT NOW, it’s going to have to wait another five years!” I talk a lot about media kits at The Blogcademy and I felt like it was time to walk the walk and see how hard it was to rebuild my ancient one from scratch. Media kits are definitely challenging, especially when you’re the client! I’m actually working on a media kit digital product right now so stay tuned. 😉

Nubby Twiglet is a breath of fresh air amongst the hundreds of other design/fashion/lifestyle blogs!! Honestly, you take it to a whole ‘nother level. Due to vacation and moving recently, I’ve been internet-less for a month and Nubby Twiglet was 1 of the 2 blogs (the other, a badass lady webcomic) I just haaaad to keep checking in on. Couldn’t do without it :)

I’d be totally bummed to see NT churn out the same tired sponsored content from big, boring names like so many other blogs so I hope all the sponsored content you’ve got lined up will be all small, independent companies. Through NT I’ve discovered so many sweet little brands and creative ladies to give my hard earned dollars to and I’d hate for that to change.

Crystal: Thank you for stopping in after all that time away from the internet! You’re so sweet. And I will never be one of those bloggers that churns out the same old, tired sponsored content. Trust me when I say that I turn down 95% of what comes into my inbox on a regular basis. I’ve worked far too long on this blog and my personal brand to throw it all away on content I don’t believe in. On the other hand, I do have a hefty server bill every month and I believe bloggers have a right to make a living off the content they work so hard to produce. There’s always a fine line, though. I appreciate your thoughts on the subject and I hope now that your internet connection is back up and running, you’ll be able to stop by a little more often. 😉 xoxo

    Hi Shauna!

I’ve been following your blog for a while now, but this is my first time commenting, I think! I’m a huge fan of your work and was wondering if I could request a media kit even though I don’t have a collaboration in mind?

    Thanks!
    Melissa
