Our first London Blogcademy took place over Saturday and Sunday. Never ones to rest on our laurels, we spent all day Tuesday cooped up in the apartment, reworking our curriculum, determined to make each class better than the last. Of course our two days away from teaching weren’t all work and no play, with a shopping jaunt that covered Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and the basement of Harrods (with a stop at the Princess Diana and Dodi shrine).
We admired the dedication of our 30 students who braved the snow-covered city to join us for two days of blogging insights, cupcakes and after-hours pep talks. Their enthusiasm really energized and inspired us (I’ll admit to still being very jetlagged). I feel like each group we meet has a unique dynamic and as much as they told us they’d learned from the class, we learned from them as well. And to me, that’s what blogging is all about — developing a community and a sense of camaraderie.
