  1. aww thanks for the link love Nubs. I LOVE YOU. by the way i’m thinking i need to get a tattoo of one of those quotes in the article…and there’s only one lady I want to design it for me…. YOU!

  2. Nubby, what do you think about the amount of backlash towards Pinterest? I think it’s such a great site but there are a lot in the design community saying it’s bad because it encourages people to pin images without due credit to the original owner. I admit that I think that can be a problem but there’s a ton of websites you can do that with. Why is Pinterest getting so much flack? Is it maybe just because it’s too awesome? ;)

Caroline Royce: I was thinking about your question today and didn’t have a chance to sit down and respond until now…and noticed that Pinterest just sent out an email, updating their TOU. Thankfully they seem to be addressing some of the serious issues many people in the creative community have. Pinterest has so many things that I like including the ease of curation and the Masonite grid-style format when viewing images. I’ve also discovered so many great artists, designers and products on there but at the same time, there needs to be some further changes to protect those folks that do not want their images shared on the site.

I don’t find Karl’s routine all that eccentric – to me it seems just like a routine of somebody who knows himself really well (and has the means to satisfy his needs) :D .

We all have a certain way we like our hair to be done because we do this or that, sleep a certain amount of time, have our own style and eating habits.

Even the two houses thing doesn’t seem too odd: he says that the other one is 2 1/2 meters away, so my guess would be those aren’t real “houses”, especially not some who-knows-how-many-bedrooms mansions one might picture when Karl’s name is mentioned, but more like cottages or something
