The Week In Pictures: 9.9.11

This week, I had way too many late nights and in direct response to that, way too many iced coffees.

My special party dress arrived just in time. It’s a piece of 60s op-art perfection and will be making its debut Wednesday night both on a rooftop and in a bar covered in damask wallpaper and taxidermy.

This is a progress shot of one of the art pieces I’ve been working on. I hope to start sharing more about the series and the finished pieces by the end of September.

Lola: Aww, thanks so much! Excited to start a new chapter in my life.

Hazera: It was like 90 degrees all week in Portland so I had to switched to iced coffee. My favorite is an iced Caramel Macchiato!

Kaz: After the birthday party I was at last night, I think I’ve had enough champagne and jungle juice to last for the week but I’ll surely make room for a cocktail or two on my birthday.

Krissy: That’s awesome to hear. I am hoping to have 15 new pieces completed by my November show and it’s been really inspiring getting back into the swing of making art again after so many years off.
