Working on new art means that scraps are everywhere! It’s both exciting and a little scary after taking a few years off.
One of my favorite type specimens from Interview Magazine (still inspiring me a year later) paired with my favorite perfume, Vanillary from LUSH.
In a weird twist of miscommunications, I ended up at a bar next to a golf course at Edgefield last Saturday with my dad and grandparents while my brother dined at the Spaghetti Factory across town with my mom. When my dad asked my grandma what she wanted to drink, without pause, she replied “a bourbon on the rocks.” Haha. If you’re ever in town, Edgefield is a must-see and worth the 25 minute drive from Portland.

Loving this makeup layout that I just found in Marie Claire. I find inspiration in how something so potentially messy still retains a sense of structure. And with that, I’m off to make some art, work on freelance and spend some time with Joey & Rocky. xoxo
