I was at Shareen Vintage in LA with Gala and Jazzi a few weeks back when I spotted this dress. Sure, beige isn’t normally my power color but what grabbed by attention was the lederhosen-esque pocket detailing. I’ve been wearing lederhosen since the ripe old age of four and, well, I’m a bit obsessed (buckskin shorts in the summer? Why not!) Anyway, this dress had some major damage towards the bottom but luckily, Shareen had seamstresses on hand that hemmed it above the knee for me on the spot (talk about awesome service)! It’s still not perfect but hey, it’s vintage and I don’t mind clothes that have been lived in, stains and all.

I paired this dress with a handful of my favorite accessories to make it feel more modern: an H&M zigzag headband, Wolford Bondage tights in Sahara (these were limited edition but you can sometimes find them on Ebay), my go-to summer wedges by Australian brand Beau Coops and a velvet buckle bag by Versus that I found at Opening Ceremony last year.

I Wore:

Dress, Shareen Vintage
Belt, Vintage
Tights, Wolford
Bag, Versus
Wedges, Beau Coops

Since I returned from LA, I’ve been wearing almost all vintage nonstop and it’s nice to give old clothing a new life and make it my own.

Still head-over-heels in lust over the Wolford tights! Also very unsual to see you in beige, yet the accessories suit the look perfectly.

Will we be seeing any more stunning LA vintage finds?
