Greetings from Reykjavik! Gala and I are having a nice little vacation just outside the Arctic Circle. The vibe in Iceland is totally different than Paris but we’re enjoying some quiet time before heading back to New York in a few days. Our shopping expedition through downtown Reykjavik today yielded some truly epic legwear. It is super nice and cozy in our hotel room but don’t worry, I changed into much warmer layers before venturing outside — frostbite in the name of being fashionable? No thanks! Expect lots of Paris recaps starting next week!

I Wore:

Faux French sweatshirt, Urban Outfitters
Leather Shorts, Topshop
Tights, Reykjavik Shop
Boots, Dr. Martens

Okay, my feet can’t compete with the tub’s feet in our hotel room. Check out those claws, baby!

Just curious about where you stayed in Iceland. I will be going to paris with a week of iceland on the way back in may and I am trying to find great places to stay in Iceland. Its funny because your trip to Paris even has the same hotel that I had booked, Hotel du Petit Moulin. Glad it was so well received.

  hilary: We stayed at the 101 Hotel in Reykjavik. Very black and white / modern Scandinavian in style with great service. It was a bit austere for my tastes but clean with fantastic service.
