The sun actually came out this weekend and it was close to 50 degrees — a miracle! I love military-inspired garb like this jacket so much but I always have to give it my own spin. And these Dries Van Noten gray patent wedges are still probably my all-time favorite shoes.

I loved everything from this Miu Miu collection but after a few months, ended up settling on the most basic, classic piece — the Vitello Turnlock bag. Of course I immediately fell in love with it when I realized that the lock formed a red cross. In a way, it’s my modern take on an old fashioned doctor’s bag.

50 degrees sounds amazing. In Minnesota we’ve been sub zero for the last couple days. That bag is sweet. I noticed the cross right away too!

Where do you buy your Miu Miu from? Net-a-porter? It’s very smart of you to make your big purchases here in the US instead of Europe, considering the exchange rate between the dollar and the euro. Is Oregon a state that doesn’t charge tax on clothes? Minnesota doesn’t (yet), and I’m pretty sure that’s why we have the monstrosity of a mall…people come in droves to buy stuff! Our Nordstrom is a very busy place…foreigners buy as much Chanel as their arms can carry! Oh, and I have a small list of posts I’d like to see by the darling Ms. Nubs–if you want any ideas, that is. :) Anything to help, considering how busy you are. xo

Lola: I found this one at Bergdorfs online. After Xmas sale, baby! Oregon doesn’t have a sales tax AT ALL and I think we’re one of maybe two states with this set-up. If you have any post suggestions, I’d love to hear them! Between prepping for my first solo college speech, working on NBA All-Star and getting ready for Europe, it’s been a whirlwind of a new year! xoxo

Great look! The shoes are fabulous! I’m glad you’re enjoying the nice weather…it’s been in the 50′s here in Texas and that’s not nice weather for us!
