Over this last weekend, it occurred to me that I’ve never taken outfit photos sitting at my desk. When I’m home, this is where I spend the majority of my time — it’s my so-called natural habitat! This outfit is representative of my basic daily attire when I have nowhere special to be. On those days, I want to be comfortable and warm but still feel pulled together.

Don’t you just love your DM Boots? I bought a pair a little over a month ago and can’t stop wearing them! And I am not one to wear the same pair of shoes two days in a row……or even twice in a week!
I love your blog!!! I look to it for fashion inspiration as I live in the Portland Metro area as well. You also give me great ideas of places to visit in the area. Keep up the great work!!!

Thanks everyone for the sweet comments!

Thankyoubutno: I have an Aeron chair. It’s really expensive but nothing else I’ve tried compares. There’s a reason why most agencies have these chairs — when you’re sitting 10+ hours a day, this chair will seriously save you. It’s a life changer, I promise! P.S. You can find much better deals on Ebay (that’s where I got mine).

I agree, that jacket is fairly amazing. It’s so gloriously fluffy-looking and chic at the same time. I love jackets that can be both really comfortable/warm and stylish; yours definitely fits that bill!

Hi Nubby – love the font you have used for ‘the’ on this headline – what is it? Or is it another of your handmade creations? Thanks and Merry Christmas!
