I’m a bit obsessed with this blouse by 6×6 which reminds me of an eye chart. Type-covered and maybe a bit cliché to add to my wardrobe but I like that I can tuck it in and do a menswear-inspired look for work or leave it long, belted and dress-like for after-hours.
Speaking of type, here’s an out take from a long-forgotten project I worked on ages ago. I actually ran out of ideas for quotes so I started inserting famous Oprah sayings!
I was downtown again over the weekend and this cluster of signs in Pioneer Courthouse Square always cracks me up. Since, you know, Times Square is only 2,443 miles away and Casablanca? Only 5,643 miles!
Winter = freezing to death. This beauty from Topshop Unique a few months back has been my go-to sweater to avoid frostbite.
I finally had a chance to visit the MAC counter. I’d tried to get by with drugstore versions of my favorite lip gloss and mascara….huge mistake. Not even close. Dazzleglass is hands-down the best lip gloss I’ve ever tried. And Zoom Fast Black Lash is the blackest black and builds up super fast — no need to do multiple coats.
Still super obsessed with this dress from H&M (also featured in my Fall / Winter 2010 Style Direction). Now I just need some holiday party invites that involve formal wear instead of ugly Christmas sweaters.
