Ilse Jacobsen for Solestruck Ads

I just put some ads together for Solestruck featuring Danish rainboot brand Ilse Jacobsen that were featured earlier in the week on their their blog. I loved the imagery they provided for these so much that I thought I’d share — nothing like some bright, lush colors to brighten up dull, rainy days!

We also did a little teaser for the lookbook that they have coming out soon. It’s sure to be full of cool new stuff…I can’t wait.

So, so beautiful! It’s very different from the palette that you normally use, but I like it. Shows that you keep the customer’s happiness very much in mind. The third one down is my favorite…it’s gotta be the perfect balance of typography. You sure are talented! BTW, I love all the new posts coming in…kinda like Christmas morning, unwrapping present after present! Yay!

Lola: Thanks! My goal is to remove myself from the process as much as possible and design to fit the client’s needs. I think that as a designer, it’s not all about me — it’s about coming up with solutions that make my clients happy. As a designer, I’m sure you know what I mean. :)

lovely, lovely ad. I bought these last year in the basic dark blue. I’m sorry I missed out on these beautiful colours. They’re wonderful rubber boots that I expect to be still wearing in 10 years.
