Wall Street, New York City
September 15th, 2010
Bianca shot these photos of me the day after my 29th birthday and the day before we boarded a plane to Vegas. Wall Street at night is fairly desserted; all of the business folks have left for the day and headed to the bars or home. It still feels surreal to me to be posing on the steps of a building right next to a massive statue of George Washington. Or, just standing near the U.S. Stock Exchange, which is lit up, letting off an eery red glow at night.

I Wore:
Red dress, vintage
Belt, vintage
Tights, American Apparel
Headband, Forever 21
Watch, Nixon
Boots, Camilla Skovgaard

I’ve had this dress since 2003 or so — it was a handmade vintage number bought for less than $30.00 on Ebay and I’ve since worn it about a million times. I usually pull it out for Valentine’s Day or birthdays. 😉

I have to admit, it’s kind of nice sitting out here at night when most of the tourists have left. Quiet and empty….just the way I like it.
P.S. If I’m a little quiet around these parts this week, it’s because I’m working through a mind-boggling number of freelance jobs and packing my suitcase.
