First of all, a huge congrats is in order for my friend Joey who managed to finish a 20-something mile marathon this weekend in Portland. I knew you could do it!! Time to celebrate with some cupcakes!
I don’t recall if I’ve worn the black version of this jacket in photos before. It’s by Quail and I had the gray version for quite some time when I realized that the black one had gone on super sale at Urban Outfitters. It’s raw silk with some amazing texture — people pet it often!
Clothing-wise, this is about as ‘sporty’ as I get. If you can call wedge sneakers and zipper leggings sporty!

The agency I’ve been freelancing at regularly for the last few months counts Adidas as their main client. Every morning when I showed up for our morning meeting, it seemed like at least one person had Adidas on. I was always the odd person out, trudging in wearing black platforms, week after week (surprise!). I think the last time I’d owned Adidas was around 1992 or so. Green Gazelles! Then, I spotted these Y-3 babies in Vegas. I’d met my match. I probably won’t be running a marathon alongside Joey in these any time soon but at least I (sort of) fit in now.
