It all started last week. I received an email from Solestruck, inquiring as to how heavy my workload was. “Slammed. But I can always make room for shoes,” I replied. Before I knew it, I was driving towards the Jupiter that same night. A stack of shoe boxes awaited my arrival on the hotel room bed. And, all just happened to be in my size — 37. Convenient. Ty, the buyer helped me load up my trunk.

The corner of my office has been taken over by shoes ever since. Expect many more new splash pages from me over the next few weeks! Though I have to return the shoes after I shoot them and design the ads, it’s been a blast getting to try on all the different styles.

My absolute favorites so far are the Finsk 252-95′s. I wasn’t kidding when I said that they were ‘architecture for your feet.’ These things are like wearable art.

When we redid the dining room, I gave up the black reproduction Panton chair in my office to put in one of the corners. To take its spot, I borrowed my brother’s hand chair. It totally reminds me of the Addams Family!

My friend Amelia of A is for Arsenic kindly sent me this skull tank and I can’t get enough of it. I wear it under little black blazers and dress it up with scarves. It’s the lightest, softest cotton and beautiful quality. That’s not all — Amelia went all out on the packaging as well. Check it out below!

Wow, those Finsk shoes are amazing! I really hope you buy them, they were made for you!

Amelia’s stuff is amazing. The packaging is gorgeous! I may have to make a purchase!

Kaz: So so so good. Trying to be good this fall and not buy too much stuff. But they are brilliant.

Sally: Join the club! I’ll be president, you wanna be vice?

Cate: Thanks! The wore weirdo space cyborg, the better. At least I think so! I want to keep the chair forever. I hope my brother doesn’t steal it back away….

Amy: Haha! I KNOW. We’ll see how long I can hold out.

Amelia Arsenic: Thanks so much for the tank and tote…love love love! And the Finsks are totally killing me — still sitting in my office. Trying to stay away!

    Oooooohhhhh
I am the proud owner of last year’s Finsk in a similar geometric design, I get so many comments on them when I’m out and about. I think I first saw a pic with the brand name on your site under a wish list some time back, couldn’t get em outta my head since!

The amazing thing is that they’re COMFORTABLE too!

Anyways, just commenting to say that it is a fact that your museum of shoes-as-art NEEDS these.
And that the first pic is insane in the best way possible.

R: I’m so glad that you were able to get them! I already have so many black wedges though and it just doesn’t seem very practical to run out and buy another pair at the moment. Maybe some day.

“I envision this may possibly be distinct upon the written content.!. nevertheless I still think that it would be suitable for practically any type of written content, because it might always be pleasant to determine a warm and pleasant face or maybe hear a voice when first landing.”
