When I was staying with Bianca in New York two weeks ago, she took these photos of me late one night in her apartment building. Isn’t it gorgeous?! They are 100 years old and were recently redone — a moth motif runs throughout, all over the furniture and wallpaper.

I found this dress a few months back on Etsy. It features a nude-colored fabric insert on the top half with lace overlay. It was much longer but since the neckline is so high, I had it altered to a mini length. It’s nice to switch things up occasionally and to not always run straight for the little black dress!
I Wore:
Dress, Vintage (Etsy)
Belt, Vintage
Punctuation Tights, American Apparel
Headband, Forever 21
Wedges, Camilla Skovgaard

I have a habit of balancing out super girly silhouettes with tough shoes. I guess I never want to look like I’m off to a dinner party or too done up.

Everything in this building feels so grand! A bunch of students were in the basement studying and started scurrying out of the way when our impromptu photo shoot came through. Oops!

I love working with Bianca. She’ll take photos at a moment’s notice, even if it’s 10 pm and we’ve just eaten dinner. What a trooper!
