Hello from Los Angeles

Greetings from sunny Los Angeles! I’ve had an amazing time so far with my Virgo Partner in Crime™ Gala Darling. Highlights include trekking through the winding hills of Topanga Canyon to visit a vintage store housed in a crazy victorian manor, dining on smashed macaroons courtesy of Miss Mary Bee, walking along the beach in all black and platforms, whirlwind Disney adventures with Zoetica Ebb and Shrinkle, witnessing the magic of Captain EO once again, midnight meals at 50s era diners, introducing Gala to the grossness of IHOP breakfasts, being gifted with sparkly gnomes (!!!), faux accents, sharing perfume, and oh so much more. Suffice to say, we are having an awesome time and I can’t wait to share the nitty gritty with you next week in a series of posts. Just you wait!

P.S. Even with the nonstop sun & fun, I have managed to retain my ghostly palor.

The place is Topanga Canyon sounds fascinating. Is it a secret or can you offer some more details, like a name, pretty please. Ugh, I cannot believe I haven’t been back to see Captain EO!

Dude! I GREW UP IN TOPANGA CANYON! It truly is one of LA’s best-kept secrets. Next time you go, be sure to visit Elysium Fields (a contemporary nudist colony … so insane) and Froggy’s (best fish tacos and pupusas this side of the border).

Have fun in LA … can’t wait for your Disneyland photos!
