The Week in Pictures: 7.10.10

Welcome to The Week in Pictures! Today I woke up early and cleaned my office (above). Don’t be fooled — the rest of our house isn’t so prim and organized!
01

Last weekend I stopped by Buffalo Exchange and found this vintage Geiger sweater (from Austria). I am not normally much of a purple fan but I love the cut, texture and buttons on this.
02

Sometimes I inadvertently match my nails to my shoes to my snack.
03

Another office shot. Red crosses are (always) sprinkled throughout.
04

Last weekend, I made a trip out to Edgefield with my dad. It’s one of those perfect places to visit in Summer.
05

I found these Silence + Noise zipper leggings on sale on the Urban Outfitters website and I think they’re going to be my new summer staple. Much lighter weight than the zipper jeans I usually favor.
06

Current inspiration in my office.
Enjoy your weekend (and don’t get too sunburnt!)

I agree with Nora- more interior decorating posts please! That would be really amazing, as your aesthetic sense is so strong.

2 Miu Miu bags??? Not fair! I just took down my inspiration board…;-(…I’m in the process of moving (black mold has infested my life)…hopefully I can survive life at my parent’s for the time being! BTW, you look stunning in purple, Twigs!

I always enjoy your week in pictures posts!
I need to get on of those American Apparel canvas bags! They’re lush.

I loooove your office! Especially the deer head, my dad has like three of them in his hunting room.

Nora: I will try! Now that it’s summer things are coming together faster…but the house is still very much a work in progress.
Luinae: I’d love to do more but I still feel like none of the rooms in my house are quite together yet. We’ve been here a year but there’s still so much to do! Once we start getting areas finished I will post more.
Lolo: They’re handy for hauling laundry, carrying a laptop or for use as a carry-on for the plane.
Crystal: Awesome! I like taxidermy in small doses (and only vintage) but unfortunately, my brother is obsessed. He literally showed up on my doorstep two dears ago with the deer head that’s in my office and asked me to store it for him. I got attached to him and got to keep him for good!

Lola: Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that you’re having to deal with black mold — that’s my worst nightmare! Hang in there….it’s better to be living with your parents than taking the chance and getting sick.
