I’m enjoying sitting in the middle of rose gardens during lunch with a few friends. It’s my new favorite thing to do and so much nicer than eating in front of the computer!

Not amused, obviously. Rocky seems to be giving me the look of “GET THAT CAMERA OUT OF MY FACE! NOW!”

I spent the morning cleaning out my office and found a stack of print-outs in the closet including early concepts for the line of goggles I designed for Smith Optics.

I want to do outfit photos on the steps of the building where this statue resides very soon.

On Sunday, I was invited to sit on a panel about blogging for a CRAVE Portland event at Narcisse Boutique. I’ve had great experiences at CRAVE’s events and am considering attending the upcoming Does This Brand Make Me Look Fat? interactive conversation.

I keep much of my makeup organized in glasses — it’s easier to get to and I can see exactly what I have. I’m planning out a post of my favorite beauty products really soon and eyeshadows will be covered!

During closet cleaning, I also found presentations from the Forever 21 The Skinny blog design process last year. This was an alternate option that I’d mocked up for the header with early type examples. Previous versions of the blog looked even more newspaper-like. I am really happy with how it turned out in the end — and the team was so easy to work with. Love them. <3

Also, love the pose with the bottle of Izze. Blackberry is my absolute favorite and I snap it up whenever I can find it. The branding on the bottle is just so lovely and simple.
