The Typofiles #62: IdN Magazine

Something that seems relatively easy but usually turns out to be a challenge is creating a page layout with multiple images and stories. When you’re handed a folder of pictures and a text document, creating something visually pleasing feels like a game of type Tetris! I’ve had a number of editorial design projects lately and I’ve found that it’s way easier to create a great layout while glancing at visual inspiration. These pages from an old issue of IdN are really nice.

Hey Nubby
Those IdN pages remind me of a bi-monthly publication we have in Australia called ‘RUSSH’ magazine – check it out here: http://russhmagazine.com/russh/current.html
The typography especially – it *also* reminds me of a free street music press we have here called ‘Inpress’. Let me know if you’d like a copy of either, I’d be happy to send them over!
