It seems that Paris has taken up residence in my bedroom between Joey’s art shows. At any given time, my house resembles a bizarre, futuristic movie set.

One of my favorite rooms has always been the little back room off the kitchen. It’s the perfectly cozy breakfast nook. In the next week, we’re getting a stainless steel table and mod white chairs. The oddest part of the room? It came with a mirrored wall. It’s like the Bavarian inhabitants of this abode went all disco in the 70s and needed a place to have dance parties.

On Friday, I paid a visit to Exhibit A, by far my favorite Nemo show yet. I loved the use of type and light boxes paired with the desolate landscapes that dotted the photography.

My little gnome table has been keeping me company since 2002. That’s through three moves! He always finds a way to help out by holding a plant or other odds and ends. He just moved into my dressing room last week and is valiantly assisting with my shoes now.

I love that globe. And the gnome. And the candle holder.

Let’s be real, it’s all amazing.

I like that you have named your house, and I like that you live with your brother. I would live with my brothers, too, if they didn’t insist on hanging “Dogs Playing Poker” on the dining room wall.

Kiersten: I have my brother to thanks for most of the house decor. While I am a total minimalist, he is a thrifting maniac!

Breezy: He did the house naming and though we want to kill each other sometimes, it’s been pretty smooth sailing. Family is forever!

Your little breakfast nook is all sorts of fantastic. Would it be odd if I said I had a crush on your salt and pepper shakers?

Just realized that the shoe-per-capita ratio at Wolfgang Manor is probably ridiculously high by now.

Love your shoes and you chair all the little details there. Also, your photos style is also amazing.

I love your style aesthetic — very inspiring and interesting. The second photo absolutely sent me over the age. The marvelous outfit you’re wearing did me in.

Krissy: Not at all! Helvetica slapped across the most basic kitchen items sends me over the edge, too!

Jake: You know it! Pretty out of control and funny to think about.

Auntie Nubs: Mexican food, shoe worship, Rocky cuddlin’ and trash talkin’….just another day at the Manor! Heehee. So glad you stopped by.

i need a new face: I think I’ve figured out a cleaning routine – I do a little each day so it doesn’t become a disgusting mess!

Nicole: Thanks! It’s always a work in progress…..
