Nubbytwiglet.com 2010 Identity

I just finished up the 2010 identity for Nubbytwiglet.com. As a challenge, I create a new version each year. Last year’s can be seen here. The original exploration of the 2010 identity began last October. All of the type is done in two weights of DIN; 1451 Mittelschrift and 1451 Engschrift.

From top to bottom: 1. Double sided square business cards, 2. cover sheet, 3. CD, 4. letterhead, 5. invoice and 6. mailing label.

It’s beautiful. How do you get the CDs printed? Do you do it in house? I have a CD labeling program that came with the stickers for the CDs but I barely ever used it.

Jesus, Nubby.
You do great stuff. It’s kinda freakin’ intimidating. Like maybe I should just get a job in pre-press.

Loving the greys.
Curious about the “Aroha Silhouettes” header – aroha being Maori for love and all

I absolutely LOVE the change to your CD’s – I think the grey looks fabulous on them.

Thanks for sharing this Nubs! I’m starting to get all of my identity pieces together and it always helps to see what someone else has done – especially when its a great package like yours. I have the same question as Brittanny though – how do you do your CDs (I am so over writing on them in sharpie, screams unpolished).

Brittanny: The CD above is a mock-up…I never really have to use them anymore but I like the way they look as part of the set.
David Roos: It takes time! I’ve been out of school for nearly 2 years now. There’s still so much to learn…it’s never ending.
Rachel B: That’s my cover sheet – one of my recent clients was Aroha Silhouettes, a jewelry company.
Kaz: I’ve noticed some friends switching over to square formats and there’s something refreshing about them….plus they’re cuter!
the girltyler: To be honest, I rarely use CDs anymore. I tend to send everything through yousendit or a PDF. The CD is just a mockup but if I was creating it, I would just print out labels.
