What I Wore: 3.27.10 // Matching Stripes

When I first met Rocky, I realized that we had a lot in common, namely a love for stripes and monochrome color palettes. Though, while he likes to chase after squirrels and bark at dogs five times his size, I’m much more content to stroll along in ridiculous shoes, sipping a latte.
Rocky is Joey’s dog and almost immediately after I met him, he felt like family because I have an uncle named Rocky and my stepdad’s 90 year old mom has the same hairdo. I wake up with perpetually flat hair while he’s always perfectly coiffed. Jealous much?

I wore:
Dress and leggings, Forever 21
Cardigan, thrifted
Belt, vintage
Clinic wedges, Jeffrey Campbell
Headband and necklace, Forever 21
Watch, Nixon
Rocky wore:
Sweater, Dicken’s Closet

I hope all of you had a great weekend. This morning I participated in a biz chat with fellow female entrepreneurs for a CRAVE Portland event and learned so much! I’m feeling really energized and inspired by all the business owners and amazing, strong women I met. I’ll be sharing my experiences very shortly.

This is great, I think you have a new best friend. You even dress alike.

You and Rocky = a match made in heaven. He definitely looks like you and Joey’s albino love child. I think he need a special pair of lederhosen for Wolfgang Manor, though. Tell the dude to break out the sewing machine.

That is one of the best hair styles I’ve seen on a dog. You look great ..and those shoes look scrumptious.

I can’t help it, dogs matching owners is just adorable (just as long as it doesn’t go TOO far). Squeee, I squee, this is so cute! You two match so well (stripes are always lovely), and I envy how Rocky actually sorta looks at the camera, unlike my dog.

Gala You know it! You have Hank, I have Rocky. Down with cats! xo
some dude: Cats are the suckiest. But Rocky? A total doll.
Aunt Mabel: I am still head over heels for Nigel, but there’s room in the family for a little white pal, too. When you get that farm, maybe I can have a llama.
Auntie Nubs: Definitely the albino love child….and is it a coincidence that he matches Wolfgang Manor perfectly? I think not! All I know is that with Rocky around, there’s gonna be some good photo shoots in the white room.
Bleiu: Rocky’s hair is always so perfect. I wish I could wake up with that much volume.
Charlene: He’s the typical dog; he was looking away in probably half the photos!
Greta: I always have to dress up around Rocky; he’s quite the fashionista without trying.
Lorra: Yay! He is such a powderpuff. I never see hairless ones; are they very common?
Insomnia: Steven Tyler?! Best comment ever.
Kaz: YES!! I’ve always wanted an all white alpaca and an all black llama. A perfect little white dog is pretty awesome as well!

If Rocky is your child, does that make me great auntie nubs?

Auntie Nubs: Yes! Now he is entitled to receiving a new sweater every Christmas from you.

Love the matching stripes! As if I didn’t already want a dog badly enough. He rocks the hair and you rock the Clinics.

Nubby, no, they are not very common (even though there are 2 in my neighbourhood other than mine…weird). They are the best dogs! Here’s mine!

Well i havent been here in a WHILE and popped in to find that YOU HAVE A DOG? Wow!! You are the same person I read about in a post saying that .. umm you aren’t a huge fan of animals (i believe it was the llama post)
Anyways, congrats on adding a life changing creature to your family. They are absolutely wonderful aren’t they? My pooch (who we call Power Nubby and the reason I found your site) is not nearly as fashionable as yours, but he does have a real, honest to god, peg leg (http://powernubby.com)

Lindsay: Well, to be fair, he’s my boyfriend’s dog –– I didn’t go out and buy a pet. But I love him all the same! He’s the most well behaved dog I’ve ever been around!
