I hope all of you are having a great Valentine’s Day! I celebrated early last night since I have a full plate of freelance to get through today and this is what I wore out. It’s a vintage wool dress that I found on Ebay years ago and I wore the same thing last year paired with my red Chloe boots. And, here’s what I wore for Valentine’s Day back in 2008!

For Valentine’s Day, my beloved surprised me with a portrait he’d painted of me and best of all, it’s composed of five pieces that form a red cross! I’ll post photos soon. Oh, and the Michael Jackson ‘This is It’ DVD…because the fastest way to my heart is anything MJ-related! I was short on time this week so I wrote a personalized letter and pulled together a few trinkets. After all, it’s the thought that counts, right?

OH my gosh that dress was made for you! Such immaculate cool photos but still feel the warmth and sweetness come out of it from you. Can’t wait to see the painting wow what a gift. ..Happy <3 day !

  2. young says:

Whoa, that dress is absolutely, mindblowingly beautiful on you. I had to say!
Also, I love that it’s as if the dress borrowed a belt from another dress, like they are sisters or roommates! Cute!
Happy Valentine’s, though we don’t celebrate it here :)

Normally, I’m just a stalker of web post but I wanted to say that I love the red! Also, where do those curtains come from behind the Overman sofa?

  4. Nubby says:

Stella: Same to you, hope you’re having a great one! The portrait is pretty cool; the fact that he managed to include a red cross totally seals the deal! And the letter was pretty basic, but sometimes it’s nice to give someone you care about something actually written out versus the typical email or text.

Bleiu: Sometimes Ebay purchases go teribly wrong, but over 5 years later, I am still happy with this one! The painting is pretty unreal…the boy is definitely a keeper!!!

young: Thanks so much! And I like your belt observation…the dresses were once sort of roommates in my closet! Heehee!

Danyelle: Thanks! And, the curtains are from IKEA.

Totally love the outfit, from headband to heels! I’d love to get a balloon like that one year. I’ll have to hint it to any potential guys around that time haha :P
