Nubby, this is breathtaking. You look extra-gorgeous. Not many people could pull off that much silver, but you do it with flair.

Yesssss. Sequins. By far my favorite trend of ’09 / ’10. I almost bought a silver sequined hoodie the other day, but got some black wedge ankle boots with a rectangular cutout above the arch instead. I figured I’d get more use out of the booties. But now I wish I’d gotten both.

I absolutely love this outfit!! I am obsessed with all things shiny & silvery. And I love your helvetica necklace! I want one oh-so much!

I love the sequins, but I feel like something is missing. Like a shot of color somewhere…I just don’t know how I feel about the new photo spreads. They’re not as dynamic as usual…I’m wondering if it’s the play on typography in the first image? It seems like there’s too much white space and doesn’t take advantage of the area of your opening page.

nessbow: Thanks, I am a bit silver obsessed at the moment. Liquid, super shiny silver!
J: Thanks! Ah, early mornings…interesting things sometimes happen.
Unicorns for Socialism: Both sound quite good. Decisions, decisions….
Jolene: Silvery is good! Trying to do more grays and silvers instead of all black. I am so over the gloomy winter.
Lola: To each their own. I’m trying to break up the standard blogging ‘grid’ and exploring more options with white space. Changing things up in the new year!

I love silver, it’s such

As I was saying (accidentally hit the “submit” button), silver is such a futuristic color!
And the cross logo of A.F. is sooo cool! My friends family has a chocolate store and they made white chocolates with a red cross on it for the guests at one of their shows.

I knew the new shoes would be glorious. And they ARE.

The shoes are so futuristic and the zippers just melts right into the shoe! Love it!

Hi Nubby!
I will chime in also and say I love the shoes! What a great color. I look forward to hearing more about them.
I think you would love the nail polish shade “Pure Chrome” by Sally Hansen. The color is just like your shoes. It came out a few years ago but maybe eBay or somewhere else still has it.
P.S. I also LOVE your Diana Broussard shoes!
Cheers

I’m loving the black and silver-ness of this look. and I especially dig the zipper down the back of the legs on the pants – super rad.

Still can’t buy a personality, eh?
P.S. Have you ever felt Herb Lubalin spin in his grave?
[Reply]
Liza is jealous because she’s probably not cute.
[Reply]
That speaks volumes about how you regard Nubby, if the only thing to be jealous of is that I might not look like her. (If only I bought enough Forever 21 to achieve her look!) It might be a better idea to pass this off as another exercise-in-narcissism style blog than anything to do with graphic design.

Art + Graphic Design + Style + Blog: Nubby’s site is a blend of these elements, and not strictly about graphic design.
It surprises me that this person,Liza, would feel the need to make such spiteful comments. She’s obviously an unhappy person, and wants people to know it. Is this a cry for help?
