Thanksgiving, trips to IKEA, virtual meetings, surprises in the mail, catalog design, the haunted mansion and mountain getaways…another action-packed week is officially over!

Teamwork! Dark gray walls, ebony floors, a huge fireplace and a few well-placed pieces of taxidermy…slowly but surely, our living room is starting to feel like the haunted mansion. The white sixties-era couch my brother and I are sitting on is actually for our new office space; we just had it recovered in white vinyl.

Gray day. Gray nailpolish is my latest obsession. Minimal and unexpected, it’s a nice shakeup from my usual black palette. In case you were wondering, it’s from Forever 21.

Living room revisited. Almost together…almost. Snapshots of my fireplace mantle.

Virtual meetings. Ah, the magic of modern technology! On Wednesday, I ran down to a coffee shop during my lunch, met up with Myrrh, then logged on and chatted with Star in San Francisco. We got a ton accomplished in that hour; big plans!

Staircase to nowhere. Am I the only one that thinks this is funny? Climb to the top and…jump?

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Princess Poochie for sending me this issue of Architectural Digest featuring Michael Jackson and Neverland. Ahhh….the cover is just so good. Enough said.

Thanksgiving. I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving with your family, friends and beloveds. I went up to the mountains to visit my grandpa and grandma. My brother took a ton of great photos of my grandpa, who is 81 and still chops wood, drinks and gambles. I have no idea how he does it! We spent a few hours in their cabin listening to country music and talking about his collection of beer signs. So adorable. I have the best grandparents ever!

Until next week,
