Link Love: 11.13.09

Welcome to a mini edition Link Love! My posts have been slightly off for the last few days because the house I was staying at in Sarasota, Florida had no internet access. But I’ll take white sandy beaches over wifi any day. So, late posting it is!

• Wikipedia sums up the 2000s. Time flies when you’re having fun, I guess. No idea where this decade went…
• In Dawn of the Dead Mall, Design Observer weighs in on the history of the mall, their current faltering state and what’s next for these decaying properties.
• Smashing Magazine delivers once again with 40 high quality free WordPress themes.
• This Is Star, the personal blog of my friend (and coding mastermind) Star St. Germain has just relaunched!
• The colorless Coke can is absolutely brilliant.
• New York is the vainest city in the U.S. according to TotalBeauty.com. Each year, New Yorkers spend nearly 60 million dollars on making themselves look good.
