How was your week? I spent most of mine sitting at my desk working on freelance (luckily, my office is pretty cool; see above!) and when I wasn’t doing that, my brother and I were painting our dining room floor white and buying a super mod couch. I’m one of those people that always has a camera in my purse, no matter what. See the rest of the evidence of my week below….

These quick snapshots do this amazing necklace no justice but I just had to show it off. It’s part of Amelia Arsenic’s upcoming jewelry collection and I picked it up at her show in Portland a few weeks back. If I ever have to attend a red carpet event, this will be my ‘fancy’ jewelry to pair with a gown!

At Nemo last Friday, there was a cat figurine…did I mention that the cat was on a cell phone and standing next to a mysterious substance? The poor cat got knocked over and its leg snapped off. We searched high and low to find it to no avail. Cell phone cat will never be the same; I think we all collectively shed a tear.

I finished off the night by hanging out with my dad at Edgefield but stayed out way too late. By the time Halloween rolled around on Saturday, I was exhausted. Though I dressed up as a nurse, I ended up staying in and inviting over one of my best friends. Without the Nemo Halloween party this year, things just weren’t the same.

When I was downtown the other day, I passed by Union Station which was built in the 1890s. Definitely a Portland landmark.

Whenever I am spending time at an ad agency, this is a pretty typical conversation.

Earlier in the week, I spent the day with the Big Giant crew and it was finished off with chocolate cake and Def Leppard. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Can you believe this?! Sooooo awesome. Too bad I don’t need a dresser and already have a set of night stands. Still, I am considering…this furniture would be the perfect finishing touch to my black bedroom!

Apologies in advance if posting here slows down over the next week. I am off to Florida tomorrow to visit Disney World for the first time in 15 years! The weather in Portland just turned totally rainy and gloomy so I’m more than ready to make my escape…
