Another crazy busy week bites the dust! I’ve been keeping the Nemo crew company, visiting friends old and new and trying to figure out what to do for Halloween here in Portland. Any ideas?

Fat & Tasty. Auntie Nubs and her friend whisked me away for breakfast on Monday morning at a quaint café called…Fat Albert’s. I said yes to whipped cream on the top of my hot chocolate. Yum!

Stacked. I had the realization that the three notebooks I carry daily (Helvetica Moleskine, Moleskine limited edition daily planner and Miquelrius notebook) are a happy and well-matched little family.

Heart. A cute coffee shop just opened up in Portland called Heart. The Nemo boys took me over to check it out yesterday and it was like entering the very sophisticated lab of a mad scientist. Black walls, minimal decor and tons of mysterious equipment for coffee making filled the space. Perfection.

Mystery Rock. Last night I went to a bar with my friend Hugh and there was a rock in my way….that wouldn’t budge. It was attached to the counter. No elbow resting allowed, obviously. Haha.

Nuumbers. The day before I left for New York back in August, my brother surprised me with a stack of vintage gas station signs. This number seven resides in my matte black bedroom. Pretty sweet.
