My Feet Have Found Their Soulmates

These wedge ankle booties truly are my dream shoes come to life. And even better, they remind me of something a female version of Marilyn Manson would wear. Black, lug soled, wedged to the extreme and fairly comfortable considering the height, I doubt that I will be taking these off any time soon.

these are amazing! i especially love the soles. i can’t see what you pair them with.

WOW! Great shoes to walk all over uncooperative clients. “No, I will NOT make the logo bigger!”

Plus succeeding in the the design world is all about height (and good hair) so these will come in handy.

Love Skovgaard. She is a great designer and really pretty (and tall!) and nice in real life.

Absolutely dreamy. Can’t wait to see them in action!

Where on earth do you find all these beautiful shoes?

On another note, not only are they beautiful, but I love the fact they look like they’ve got a good grip for when it snows. I find it difficult to find shoes I like that are both fashionable and functional.

Well.. I recently became VERY obsessed about a pair of shoes that a re-found in my closet. So obsessed that I designed my entire blog around them last night.. yep.. my blog is officially based soley (hah pun) on these shoes.. They are Guess Patent Leather Red shoes with a grey heel.

HOWEVER, I am seriously in LOVE with a pair of Miss Sixty Booties that I found online that I can not seem to find the room in my budget for. Its really pretty sad, because these shoes NEED to be worn by myself. Hopefully if I get this big web design project, i will be able to purchase them soon!

the shoes i really want (http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/3038962?cm_cat=datafeed&cm_pla=shoes:women:boots&cm_ite=miss_sixty_%27jesse%27_bootie:267795&cm_ven=Linkshare&siteId=J84DHJLQkR4-cLfG5JA6JxRCnRngmrhoRQ)

I WANT!!!

Can’t wait to see the outfits these are paired with.

My current favs are my Fluevog ankle wedges. Even though I’ve only worn them twice. They’re crazy high. So not for everyday use.

These are pretty amazing and will be wonderful in the rain! My current favorite shoes are the Jeffrey Campbell 99 Zip Wedge. Super comfortable and helped me out in our 2 day storm in LA.

Wow, wow, wow! Those are beautiful.

My favorite shoes are my ankle strapped one. Ha, not a very good description but whatever!

wow, those are some high wedges! My current favorites are my Mia Outlaw brown leather boots. <3

I commend you for having such bold footwear, but I just do not know HOW you wear them! Within minutes of wearing anything taller than a 1″ heel, I’m all whiney.

These are scorching! I’m currently in love with a similar pair, the “Flashing Lights” by irregular choice. They’re sort of like a mix between your and the faux-Biagas. Sold out though, sadly :(

I did, however, snatch myself a pair of faux Ann D. lace up booties from freepeople which are due to arrive in the minute any day now!

I love them! Congrats on your love!

I’ve found my feet’s soulmates — green leather Frye cowboyish boots :) So comfy, a bit of a heel…

OH MY GOD I am sooo painfully in love with these shoes!! I can’t believe you have them! AMAZING PLEASE POST PICS!

» Leigh @ Constant Cravings said: { Oct 19, 2009 - 11:10:04 }

my frye boots! best shoe purchase i’ve ever made. i adore them so much.

» Andrea Schwoebel said: { Oct 19, 2009 - 11:10:39 }

My Frye boots are definitely my favorite shoes, they were SO expensive, but 3 years later I am still getting complements on them when I wear them to work or just out and about. I always feel confident in them, and that’s worth a lot!

I’m eye yet another pair at Nordstroms right now…rustic bananna colored with an ultra high leg, (sigh) but I’ve got to wait out this who economic turmoil thing first :)

» Hannah said: { Oct 20, 2009 - 04:10:23 }

Agh! You are giving me shoe envy! I wish the British high-street would catch up already and start producing some hot wedge booties, they just don’t exist in this environment yet (and this is unfortunately the only environment my budget exists in.)
Still, congrats! I hope you’re very happy + fierce together! :D

The only reason I’m not buying Jeffrey Campbell Potion wedges RIGHT NOW is because I’m on the waiting list for a pair of Atacoma wedges.

It’s all about the fierce wedges!

» Whit said: { Oct 20, 2009 - 05:10:35 }

My trusty black Converse high tops, comfortable, not hard to walk in, and super cool.

I want a pair of gray ones with rainbow foil stars so badly, though. =)

» ghostmeat said: { Oct 20, 2009 - 05:10:19 }

very nice. lovely even. i’ve been rocking a pair of neutral beige patent ballerina flats pretty obsessively myself.

» Art DepartMENTAL said: { Oct 20, 2009 - 05:10:26 }

I’m impressed. Those are pretty awesome. They also look like they’ll go with a lot of different wardrobe choices. Have fun.

» Nubby said: { Oct 20, 2009 - 08:10:02 }

joseph: Hahaha! I love your outlook!

Fashion Intel: I really like the clean lines (and the price) of the 99 zip wedge. Great choice!

Jasmin: Wow, those Flashing Lights shoes are so totally amazing and unique.

Nadia: The Atacoma wedges are worth the wait, for sure.

Whit: I wish I was as practical as you!

I love your boots! :)

I have two pairs of now-dated BCBGirls wedge sandals that have almost the exact same footprint — one brown pair, one black with red leather insoles.

It’s too cold for those right now. I’m not yet certain what my favorite winter shoes will be. Right now I’m doing most of my getting around in a pair of black suede Vans with white piping.

» Niki said: { Oct 23, 2009 - 06:10:54 }

Oh wow, look at the sole of those boots! What great detail! :)

I don’t have a current favorite shoe of mine but I’m in love with these. They’re Chloe’s.

» Amy Rae said: { Oct 24, 2009 - 04:10:35 }

Wow, those are gorgeous. I am such a sucker for wedges. I’m personally loving my Jeffrey Campbell “Photo” wedges right now…though they’re in competition with his 99 Zip wedges and my Sam Edelman Zoes. Honestly, I bought way too many pairs of boots/booties this fall. All black. I love them all.

» The Photodiarist said: { Oct 29, 2009 - 09:10:15 }

Those are WONDERFUL shoes. You should be so proud! :-)

I am rocking my stuff from last year because I am scaling back on the shopping . . . so my wedge heel Givenchy boots and my flat Ann D laceups are making me happy these days. And my chloes with the bling gold zipper in the back.

» ange said: { Nov 1, 2009 - 05:11:33 }

Did you know that she copied Rick Owens’ wedge boots that he has been doing for years? They are VERY similar, except she has the lug sole.

» Paulina said: { Nov 1, 2009 - 10:11:46 }

They are sooo gorgeous. I love the soles.

» Teresa said: { Nov 2, 2009 - 02:11:52 }

Gorgeous!! I have been eyeing those for awhile now. Glad someone got them!
