What I Wore: 8.24.09

Last night I spent some time near Wall Street, hanging out in front of the New York Stock Exchange and on the steps of the building where the U.S. Constitution was signed. While shooting these photos, my friend Bianca gave me a mini tour of the area and I realized just how cool it was.

I Wore:
Dress, Forever 21
Bow headband, Forever 21
Belt, Forever21
Watch, Nixon
Necklace, Star
Shoes, Acne

Amazing shots, as always. And I’m still just drooling over those Acne shoes …

Wow, these shots are amazing!! I have a question, I hope it’s not impolite…lol…i LOVE the color of your hair and have been trying for ages to reach a similarly dark chocolate-y brown/ black…plesae tell me this is not your real hair color and that you can tell me what shade it is??

Isn’t that area of Manhattan beautiful? I used to work in the building right behind the stock exchange. I loved the cobble-stone streets {though it was difficult in heels!}
Your dress is adorable!

These photos are really pretty, Nubby, you look great!
I went to wall street once, it was super busy though so didn’t get to see too much.

Nubby, this outfit is wicked sweet. Seriously, you look so good! You are quickly becoming my style icon.

Sally: We can never get enough shoes, can we? I know we’d totally bond over our love of shoes if we met in person!
Dorie: My hair is naturally a light brown and I’ve been dying it for years with Revlon Color Stay dye. There are two blacks that they make and I use the one that’s not blue black. I think it’s called Natural Black though it’s so not natural at all. Haha.
Tara: Those cobblestones make walking in anything other than flat shoes very tricky indeed.
Kim: It’s pretty jam packed during the day…but the architecture is soooo good!
Mary: Thank you, my sweets!

While I’ve never really been fond of that area, you made it work!
The history there, and nearby access to BKLN Bridge is cool, too.

You look even more amazing than usual, Nubby! (And just when I didn’t think that was possible..) It must be that added dose of New York fabulousness ;D
