David Carson on Design

…said the genius with no formal education
And schools that teach only design programs keep churning out horrible designers.
You know, I loves me some David Carson, and I do agree that the ability to THINK is the most important thing.
BUT, having gone to a school where I was just thrown into the water with not even an introductory class for Quark (at the time) or any of the Adobe programs, I’d say that knowing those tricks are kinda necessary to be able to communicate your ideas. If you don’t know how to translate your idea into a Photoshop file, you’re not employable.
But I digress. I still love David Carson.
Hear hear!!!
