The Typofiles #29: California College of Arts and Crafts Poster

Graphic Designer Martin Venezky made these posters for the California College of Arts and Crafts in 2001. Of the design, he says, “These simple ads revel in low-tech happiness. The original type was set on the computer but then cut, curved and twisted by hand.”

Oh Nubby! This post makes me extremely happy. I’m a CCA student and it’s nice to see one of the school’s ads featured. You always pick amazing images/pieces for your Typeofiles. It’s really great to see something about/from my teeny tiny school being posted on here.
