The Typofiles #28: Blueprint Magazine

This is a page from another issue of the now defunct Blueprint Magazine. Their style was so consistent yet always had a certain flair that set it apart from the other lifestyle magazines. You can view all of The Typofiles scans on Flickr here.

wow wow wow! and they say you only need two typefaces in a design?! what an amazing blend of serif and italic fonts. love it when the rules are beautifully broken like this.

Brilliant! It shows that lots of fonts doesn’t meen your page has to be cluttered and crowded. Lovely blend

I really like mixing & playing with typefaces & it can be tricky – this looks great.

I really miss Blueprint and wish they could bring it back. I was always so delighted to get a copy each month. The typefaces they’ve chosen brought such a fresh appeal to publication.
