CDG Type Wallets

One of my readers sent me a link to these silver type-covered Comme des Garçons wallets and I just had to share. Good quality wallets are worth the investment; think about how many times a day you use yours and have to look at it!

Ah! These are nice. I’m in the market for a new wallet, but can never find one the right size. I like slim ones, just for cards (I keep change in my pockets rather than a purse). Tricky to find atm!

Very, very awesome for a person who loves typography! And I agree, an excellent quality wallet should be worth the price. That is what I am on the look out for!

  3. Love these.
I couldn’t agree more about wallets. I also have the YSL letter wallet and I love looking at it everyday. I’ve had it almost a year and I still don’t see any wear!

Kim: Good wallets are elusive but when you find that perfect option, it’s so worth the hunt!

Molly B: Right on. I just love all their wallets.

Fashion Intel: I upgraded to my first-ever ‘expensive wallet’ earlier this year….the YSL Y-MAIL. And I agree with you. It makes me happy every time I pull it out to pay for something!

i had the gold one and it got stolen the 2nd week i moved to the US. :( so i went back and used an old vivienne westwood wallet and recently FINALLY bought a new and very colourful tsumori chisato wallet. but yes, the comme des garcons one is perfect for a typography manic like you! (it is super expensive in the US though!)

  6. I’ve had the same wallet for the past 4 years. I never like to change wallets unless it’s falling apart because I hate having to get used to where everything is. I absolutely love the one you posted though. Once Old Jack (my wallet) falls apart, I’ll consider CDG :)

i have the silver zipper pouch from the line above.. been using it for about six months and the edges have started to wear off (BIG TIME). ive since gotten the black wallet with the golden zipper. the black is slightly shiny tho not patent and the inside of the wallet is that tiffany’s turquois color.. amazing!
