Nubby,

Your work is amazing! Will you marry me? Wait, I'm already married.

I was wondering the same as Mai. Would you mind sharing a bit more about about your process? Thanks

Claire: You can find some great pre-made cover options from Pina Zangaro which have screw posts. My covers were custom made. As for the interview itself, it's not a job, just school so don't worry too much. Just be yourself, be confident and know the order of your projects well!

Hi.. I really liked this post, especially the suggestion for the Portfolio Cover, since I live in India I cant find a store where I can purchase a portfolio cover(Pina Zangaro's Vista Onyx 11x8.5Landscape), can you please assist me, also I haven't done an online shopping transaction earlier.

Awesome article and well written! I agree, information about and examples of print portfolios is seriously lacking. I am a college design and multimedia instructor. In my portfolio class we use the book "No Plastic Sleeves" and its corresponding website as our main references which are great but I am always on the lookout for additional resources for my students. I challenged my students to find an example of a print portfolio online that they liked (knowing that this isn't as easy as it sounds) and to blog about what they liked about it and why. One of my students chose your article and not only is your portfolio a beautiful example of a well crafted book but your article is a great resource for anyone creating a portfolio for the first time and maybe even those looking to re-design their existing book. I was stoked that they found such a great reference, Thank you!

Heather: I tend to just use Kinko's - not the fanciest but super convenient. And if you're reprinting often, it's not worth it to invest too much.
