Texture Lovers is a new site that is filled with free textures, inspiration and tutorials.

• Jane from Sea of Shoes has been kindly sharing her snapshots of street style, visits to hair salons and more during her extended stay in Tokyo. Pretty amazing stuff!

• Coach is designing a new line of luxury purses and accessories called Poppy with the recession in mind. Personally, I’m not a fan of Coach but what do you think?

    Nice interview! The pics/layouts were really the draw, I think. I’m a sucker for collage, though. And the article about male models certainly helps give some perspective.

    Jaka Merriman: It’s always cool when the interviewer comes up with a totally unique take on the process and adds that special flair to the finished product.

    Hmmm…just looked a pics of the Poppy line. I must say I’m not a fan. Making something suitable for the recession doesn’t mean it has to look cheap. The line looks too young, too trendy and too plastic.

    Aaah! I bought Rewind coffee just last weekend at at Five Boroughs (www.fiveboroughs.com.au) based solely on the packaging. All the stickers etc come off to give you a good little container for the kitchen!
