Forever 21 Blog: The Skinny
I was super excited today when I clicked into the Forever 21 site and noticed that their new blog, The Skinny is live! Earlier this year I worked with them to design the blog along with the custom type. One of my favorite elements of the design are the rollover categories in the header. The really cool part is that they change from black and white to color.

I want to say thank you to the crew at Forever 21 for being so open minded and an absolute dream to work with. I’d estimate that about half of my wardrobe is comprised of items from their stores and it’s been an amazing experience working with a company whose products I regularly purchase. What are you waiting for? Visit The Skinny and show F21 some love!

If I’d seen that site and not known you’d designed it, I definitely would have been able to tell – it’s so Nubby!!!

Awesome job, girl!

Nubby it’s fantastic!
I was always taught that graphic designers, whether they want to or not, will create and develop their own, recogniseable ‘style’. This definitely is ‘nubby’ work – and i love it

Annette: When they mentioned that it seemed like I really understood their style, I explained that I’m usually visiting their stores at least once a week! A bit of an addict, I guess.
Katie: Thank you!
nataliette: I always include an RSS button in my designs but it’s up to the client whether they keep them or not.

Nubby – I cannot tell you how much I ADORE this site. I love, love, love Forever 21, (I love seeing all of their stuff on this site and over on GalaDarling)and this couldn’t be a better design, layout, and color-scheme for their new blog. It’s amazing! I love it! I can’t say enough good things about it! I’m not usually one to reach out to large corporations when I know I won’t get a response (what’s the point?) but I just emiled the blog to tell them how fabulous it looks. Seriously…it’s great!
I love the black/white then color thing too. It really makes it pop!
VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!!

This looks so great! It really does have “Nubby” written all over it! I’ve been designing for nine years and I still don’t quite have that unmistakable “leah style” — soon, I hope!

Positively Present: Thanks so much! I can assure you that even though F21 is a big corporation, they are really in touch with their customers. I’m sure that they’ll love your letter!
Bridget: You’re so lucky! From what my friend in the marketing dept. told me, it sounded amazing. I envision F21 & Harajuku being the perfect match because of the way the clothes are cut and the constant rotation of styles.
