The Typofiles #22

I found this page in this month’s Marie Claire and I like the simple and effective combination of the cross on the fence paired with the chunky type. You can view all of The Typofiles scans on Flickr here.

Madison: Wow, awesome!!!

Chelsea: I meant the shape of the cross (a red cross) but upon closer inspection, it’s a traditional crucifix shape. My bad!

@Nubby: No worries :D The typography itself certainly is reminiscent of the American Red Cross isn’t it? Which before I read the text was what I thought of. After reading it I expected a crucifix bc of the religion angle. Though a red cross association might be intentional. Hmmm. Interesting no?
