About Image: Red Cross

One of the self-initiated projects that I’m currently working on is a PDF document that’s an introduction to my brand, blog and design services that I’ll be sending to potential clients and advertisers. My personal style is usually pretty minimal so it’s fun to push the boundaries sometimes! I wanted to skip the typical About page and to instead create a graphic that represents who I am with a handful of stats, quotes and a photo all set inside of my favorite shape. If you look closely, I made sure to sneak in my shoe size, birthday and a list of my favorite things!

OMG! You have tiny feet! I wear size 11 (opposite end of the spectrum).

Tiffany: It does depend on the shoes. I do buy size 37 in boots and quite a few other things. Still, it seems like only little old ladies wear my shoe size these days. Haha!

This is beautiful nubbs.
What else are you putting in your book? Is it basically a portfolio + resume?

Kirsten Blair: Thanks (and I miss you)! It’s going to have stats and info graphics from my blog, an overview of who I am and probably a general list of clients and services. I want to make it very magazine-like though with lots of oversized images, little paragraphs and tons of white space!

I wear smaller than you Nubby (35 or 35.5) so I feel your pain!

i also love you never fully disclose your age. i never do either and i always wonder if i suffer for it. i’m a hell of a lot older than i look/seem, but, that’s probably okay.

Nubby!
I truly admire your work – what an ‘eye’ for a design.
And I need an advice.
I draw. I paint. But-yes, I don’t want to starve
I am getting my transcripts ready ( I am originally from Poland, but living in US now) and I want to study graphic design.
What are the schools that you would recommend along with the schools providing online degrees ?
Anything comes to mind ?
Please..kindly please…
Love your black-white-red obsession!

HAHA WOW SEE I DIDNT EVEN NOTICE because i was taking it in as WHOLE, i didn’t really realize that the numbers would all mean something.
you’re tricky, aren’t you :p!
now it makes me giggle to think you’ve done that and then said you’re twenty-something.
i also smirk realizing i’m closer to your age then i would have guessed!
