The Week in Pictures: 5.15.09
I’ve been getting to spend much more time with my brother lately. I had a meeting downtown a few nights ago and he graciously picked me up afterwards (oh wait, I had to bribe him with dinner). We’re finally teaming up for some projects and it’s going to be awesome. He’s also a graphic designer but his style is pretty crazy. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gave some art directors a heart attack…
I’m still a faithful worshipper. Always.
I’ve been wearing these babies with all black outfits. I like the unexpected pop of psychedelic color that they add.
My stack of unread magazines just keeps growing. And growing.
Yesterday, I was expecting a check from one of my clients and sent Lee out to the mailbox. He came back in with a puzzled look and handed me this postcard from the wife. I couldn’t stop laughing! I miss her so much. Hopefully a stay at the Virgo Boarding House will be happening very very soon….

oh by the way, i’d purchased one of your brother’s teeshirt and last week when i wore it to school, this other guy was wearing the SAME teeshirt. it was kind of awful but kind of cool too. then we had a 2 minute awkwardish conversation about where we got it from.
“oh my friend’s brother designed it.”
“oh is he like from portland?”
“oh my god yeah yeah!”
“oh yeah it’s probably the same guy.”
“oh cool!”
“i know, i can’t believe we both wore it on the same day.”

My stack of unread magazines is just as big – I can’t stop buying them, thinking I will have time to read them *one day*. I want a whole weekend when all I can do is curl up & read magazines! yesyes.
