Link Love: 5.14.09

1. A massive THANK YOU goes out to Missbehave Magazine for featuring me in their Internet Stalking column where I discuss my life as a designer, living in Portland and more!
2. Get the full-on Balmain look via a step-by-step DIY tutorial at Refinery 29.
3. Freelance Switch explains what you should do if someone steals your work. Good to know!
4. Lady Gaga is truly fearless when it comes to her personal style. Check out the insane headgear she wore while being interviewed by Ellen.
5. 25 logos with hidden messages.
6. Stunning design: A collection of classic records reinterpreted as Penguin book covers. My favorite is this Joy Division version.
7. Fashion over function: This Diesel watch is completely blank on the face, but features a total of four micro clocks along the sides. So impractical (yet so awesome)!
8. I love the fashion blog The Other You because it shows off tons of eye-catching photos from collections that I’ve never seen before.
9. The NY Times reviews Portland and talks about why it’s so cool in its Frugal Portland article.
10. As Storefronts Become Vacant, Ads Arrive is an interesting article about how advertisers are taking advantage of the huge amount of abandoned retail spaces in urban areas.
11. Julia Restoin-Roitfeld’s apartment is stunning. I wouldn’t expect anything less from the New York-based creative director / graphic designer!
12. In A Designer’s Resolution: Do it Your Way, Gilda talks about her experience as a design student at Parsons and how she stays strong, refusing to conform to a more commercial aesthetic. She deserves major props for both her style and work ethic!

Your idea referring to this topic is brilliant and different scholars can use this for their thesis titles. And some people still use the support of dissertation writing service.
