One of the recent projects that I’ve been working on is the 2009 media kit for Coilhouse Magazine. Coilhouse is a self-professed Love Letter to Alternative Culture and the beautiful glossy magazine is released quarterly. Additionally, Coilhouse also runs a very popular blog.
Media kits are important for publications to have on hand because they contain the information that’s necessary for advertisers and sponsors including stats, frequently asked questions, ad rates and more.
My goal for this project was to keep it timeless and clean, letting the information speak for itself. The type throughout the entire kit is done in varying weights of DIN and the color scheme is limited to a handful of grays. The pictures are very vibrant on their own, so I avoided the use of any pop colors. Here are a few more details:
