   These are the only kind of articles I can read. I’m definitely not a fan of over-elaborate articles with fancy block quotes and images plastered between the text.

   love the simplicity and balance in this layout. So with you on the letting the page breathe, more is not always good.

   Shini: it definitely depends on the context, but this page was taken from a fashion magazine with a full-page photo on the facing page. For me, the white space makes the text seem easier to digest.
