Much more inspiring than, say, a series of Polyvore sets. - I'm pretty much always wearing a black wristband with a silver charm reading "to thine own self be true" - If I have anything in my hair, it's a thick black plastic headband. It's strong enough to hold my thick curly hair back and I like the sharp, clean line. When eye make up, I tend to go for modernized 60's style; thick black eyeliner with plump lashes. There are two pairs of shoes in my collection I always veer towards: a pair of black faux suede wedge boots and a pair of red and blue striped Chinese Maryjanes. (The 'janes are worn with socks in an intentionally clashing color which strangely always gets me compliments). I have bags like Imelda Marcos has shoes but I gravitate towards my red & black custom trophy queen bag and a handmade tote I recycled out of one of my old barista aprons and adorned with hand embroidery. As for jewelery, I usually wear my custom green glitter resin pendant which proudly proclaims my Vegan-ity. I compliment this with my tungsten carbide wedding ring, a large red cocktail ring from the sixties (with multicolored flowers trapped inside) and a large mahogany cocktail ring that I always get asked about.
