What I Wore: 3.22.09

In the Spring, it rains a lot in Portland but this year I’m prepared. Normally, I’m not a fan of yellow but when I spotted this super mod rain coat at Target last weekend, it was meant to be. The see-through component makes everything way more fun, especially when cool patterns are peeking out.

Rain coat, Xhiliration
Cardigan, Halogen
Jeans, Levi’s
Scarf, Apt. 9
Wedges, Dries Van Noten
Purse, Miu Miu

I love your blog…just had to start by saying that! Why don’t you post stuff about your makeup too when you do the what i wore? I love that lip color, could you please tell me what it is? Your makeup always looks beautiful!

I saw that raincoat at Target last week and fell in love with it! I didn’t buy it though. I probably should have. The weather has been pretty bad around here lately. The blue was pretty cute! You have got me wishing I had bought it! I think I may just go back and get it…

Bex: Haha, I try not to but the patent leather holds up in the rain better than most of my other shoes.

farren: I saw the other colors too but when I held the blue one up to my pale skin, it made me look really sick! I normally hate yellow, but it seemed the most classic. You should totally get one.

I can’t believe I’ve never owned a raincoat. That one is just too fabulous in that it allows you to protect your clothes while showing them off. Tempted to go searching for one of these! Did they have pink or purple?

charlene: I have in the past, but usually don’t post what makeup I’m wearing because it’s almost always the same combo. I have tons of amazing MAC eyeshadows, but with my limited wardrobe palette, they don’t always seem appropriate…boring, I know! The lipstick I’m wearing is MAC Honeylove with MAC Lipglass in Entice over the top.
