I love these pants (um, crooked cuffs and all). I found them at a big, strange gothy megastore in Atlanta in 2004 when I was on tour and every time I wear them, without fail I hear someone say “Nubbyjuice, Nubbyjuice, Nubbyjuice!”
I went out to dinner with my dad to our favorite German restaurant and when I ordered a hard cider, I wasn’t expecting a massive bottle from England! Anyway, if you’re ever in town and want to take me to dinner, Gustav’s is the place! If you’re really special, I might even wear my lederhosen…
It’s rare to find an amazingly made up face taking up a full spread, but last month’s Marie Claire did not disappoint. My bulletin board is always such a mish-mash of odds and ends.
I’m not a person that cares about gifts on Valentine’s day. Instead, Lee Z & I went to a benefit at Nemo and donated some money to Ace & Eric. It felt good to have a great night in the company of friends while making a little difference.
This is one of those ubiquitous items that’s instantly recognizable as an IKEA piece. Does that make me love it any less? Not really. It’s like a mod spaceship flower, don’t you think?
This is one of my most favorite book covers ever. I always pull it out to admire but still have yet to read it. Maybe when I’m retired there will be sufficient time?
This weekend, I’ve gotta start packing for Hawaii, plan a trip to Disney Land (!!!), get my business receipts sorted for the CPA and get some more of my 09 portfolio together. Busy busy!
How was your week? Do you have any big plans for the weekend?
