10. An excerpt from Relating to Fans Means Helping Them Relate to Each Other:
The relationship between fans and artists is less and less like a business relationship in which artists and industry set the terms and audiences either buy or don’t, and more and more like a social relationship in which bands and fans have to negotiate terms together. They are independent, they have their own goals, and they will do things you don’t like. They can also help you.

I go to FIT, and the exhibit is alright, but the book that the exhibit is based on is amazing and totally worth getting. It is also called Gothic. I’m sure there is a link to it around the site somewhere. =]
The thing that is captivating of all of it is that they are all fair skin and green eyed. Nothing against anyone who is not, but the collection (of women) is all of the same. I long for the days that skinny + curvy = attraction.
Nubs, that Gothic exhibit is pure couture heaven. I was taking pictures although we weren’t allowed to, risking getting thrown out every second, haha. AND I want to go again!!
i love you more!!
i went to the gothic exhibit a few months ago… during the last rounds of fashion shows i think. the garments were amazing but i don’t think it was very well put together. but still worth seeing! i love sadistic, wicked, twisted designers!
