I'm halfway through my second 101 things to do in 1001 days list (here), although updating it just now I realized quite a few of the original goals are no longer goals, so I updated them with other goals. The big picture goals for the next few years are still the same as when I created this list about a year ago though. I'm kind of crazy about to-do lists and life planning - I don't think I overplan, but I try to keep my eye on the prize and stay focused.

This reminds me of the 101 things in 1001 days task.
I plan to be on a teaching course after my Fine Art degree, I’m going to do voluntary work in schools tomorrow – so it should become a reality.

Excellent idea! I’m doing 101 things in 1001 days which is similar but I like this more focused approach to getting where you want to be!

Everyone: One really awesome thing that I’ve noticed from your responses so far is that they’re totally realistic and attainable, which is a great starting point.

Jade: Paris sounds good to me!

gina: Paying off bills is always a good place to focus…

Red: That major will get you far! You can spin it into an infinite number of directions. Going to school for marketing was one of the best choices I’ve made.

Renai: I can really appreciate the practicality of your list. It’s like you’ve picked out really specific, small things to focus on and when put together, they create a cohesive life shift.

1000 days seem like the perfect plan. I must get this in order. Also because 3+ years seem like a more feasible timeline.

I guess in 3 years, when I’m 25 or 26, I’d like to start on my business, which means I should’ve saved enough to actually start one. I’d also want to get more writing assignments. If I could switch to a job that requires me to write more copy than make cold calls then I’ll go for it. Oh, and travel/surf more.

This is actually just what I needed to get myself motivated!

Have my medical and credit card bills paid off. Be moved back into a house (no more apartments, please!). Growing my own vegetables. Actually USING my business license. Have a wardrobe that I’m actually comfortable in. Riding my bike EVERY single day no matter what.

I’m doing the 101 things in 1001 days challenge. Haven’t figured out what all my goals are but the big ones already on the list are selling jewellery, earning money from blogging, quiting my current job, getting my licence, and visiting Germany.
